Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of LiveTrans, including its live speech translation, translated captions, QR sharing, account, and prepaid credit features. By using LiveTrans, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
LiveTrans uses automated speech recognition and machine translation to create live captions. Automated output may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. LiveTrans is intended to support accessibility and comprehension and is not a substitute for a qualified interpreter in legal, medical, emergency, contractual, or other high-risk situations.
3. Accounts
You must sign in with a valid Google account and keep access to that account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may not share access in a way that circumvents session, usage, or payment limits.
4. Credits and billing
Translation time is sold as prepaid credit and deducted in usage increments shown at purchase. Credits are added only after payment is confirmed by Paddle. Prices, taxes, currency conversion, invoices, and receipts may be handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Unless stated otherwise, credits are not a subscription and do not automatically renew.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use LiveTrans unlawfully; interfere with the service; attempt unauthorized access; bypass technical limits; upload or transmit content you do not have the right to process; or use the service to harm, surveil, discriminate against, or deceive others. You are responsible for obtaining any notice or consent required before capturing or translating speech.
6. Content and privacy
You retain your rights in content you provide. You grant LiveTrans the limited rights needed to process that content and operate the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable limits, or perform maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every language, device, browser, or third-party service will remain supported.
8. Intellectual property
LiveTrans and its software, branding, design, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveTrans is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or decisions made in reliance on automated translations. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using LiveTrans at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another reasonable channel. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
